The past 3 nights including ytd i slept about a grand total of 12hours. I want to just sleep now, but have to study chengyu. i want to just give up;i wont pass anyway.

goodbye this is distracting me from chengyu. At 205 now.

First learnt about the tunnels where the vietnamese fought the americans. the tunnels were so smart lor, much better than trench warfare. The vid explaining abt them sarked. It was in vietnamese. And bad graphics.

The traps were one word-Zai. Got one the soldier step on the floor it swing open and he drops onto spikes. Just like in movies leh. 1 that when u step on that spot ur leg is impaled by 7 fish-hook spikes. Natural reaction to pull ur leg out;it will rip ur flesh right off. ACK. The best trap-when the american soldier slams the door open the trap swings at him. he, obviously expecting resistance, would block the bamboo stick heading for his face. But its attached to a metal chain with rusty nails 50cm long. O.O The nails impales the guy's...part. LOL! poor american soldier.

Oh and all the traps are designed to maim not kill. Cos its better to injure as the injured guy would be a burden. The dead guy will just lie there.

Then when the americans chase them into the tunnel, got some parts which are small, but the vietnamese move through easily. The slightly wider americans get stuck and killed. =.=

Also went to a very lame war museum. ITS SUPER BIASED! Everything it shows is about how good vietnam is, and how bad the americans were. One exhibit even had the F word to describe the americans. SEERIOUSLY EVERYTHING!!!!

Took a boat to an island, tried some cookies and stuff. Honey, tea,coconut biscuits etcetc. Sampled fruits, shopped at a pasar malam sort of thing.
Then, took a smaller boat (sampan) down the river back to the big boat to bring us to the mainland. I kept thinking about that Visa card ad, where this guy is dancing at different countries. He was dancing on a sampan in vietnam, and in front of a taxi in singapore.xP
Went to some temples. 1 cathedral too.
oh and watched a puppet show. quite cool, except that its in vietnamese. wth!

oh ya ytd ate tuan yuan fan at Dragon Gate restaurant, Harbourfront.

My first impression of vietnam was that it sucked. and im gonna be stuck there for a LONG time. The airport was smelly and the lighting was bad. The guy checking our passports was rude and idiotic. The weather was super hot and humid. The bus driver chucked our luggage bags. seriously chucked into the compartment by the side of the bus. The hotel was 3 star. It was kinda small.
But then, discovered the TV had cartoon network at least. There was internet access (obviously). The bathroom was half the size of the room. BIG!!! wth?
now i dont mind it THAT bad.

1)I did NOT miss school bcos of the chengyu test. Somemore i alrdy learnt 40.
2)I missed school because of traveller's flu.

The concert in the hall was plain boring. No one really pays attention after the hour mark anyway. LOL-ed at the alumni. All their hair was dyed, gelled, etcetc. All looked like gangsters/DJs

PAC was more fun;the forfeits were hilarious. Jun Wei is officially the best singer in the school. plz lar his team was redundant. "It isnt Team 1, 1pt. Team 2, 3pts. Rather, Team 1, 1pt. Jun Wei, 3pts." bo ning said. totally agree.

WE DIDNT GET 1ST PLACE FOR THE DAMNED CNY CELEBRATION. WHAT THE (FIRETRUCK-IRETR). HOW THE HELL 2B won I DONT KNOW. THEY HAD ESSENTIALLY THE SAME DESIGNS AS US, BUT OURS WERE NEATER AND LARGER SCALED. ****
2F's decorations sarked. Im not being a sore loser here. And they got 2nd place.

well at least we got 3rd. Nice start to the class league.

The past 3 nights including ytd i slept about a grand total of 12hours. I want to just sleep now, but have to study chengyu. i want to just give up;i wont pass anyway.

goodbye this is distracting me from chengyu. At 205 now.

First learnt about the tunnels where the vietnamese fought the americans. the tunnels were so smart lor, much better than trench warfare. The vid explaining abt them sarked. It was in vietnamese. And bad graphics.

The traps were one word-Zai. Got one the soldier step on the floor it swing open and he drops onto spikes. Just like in movies leh. 1 that when u step on that spot ur leg is impaled by 7 fish-hook spikes. Natural reaction to pull ur leg out;it will rip ur flesh right off. ACK. The best trap-when the american soldier slams the door open the trap swings at him. he, obviously expecting resistance, would block the bamboo stick heading for his face. But its attached to a metal chain with rusty nails 50cm long. O.O The nails impales the guy's...part. LOL! poor american soldier.

Oh and all the traps are designed to maim not kill. Cos its better to injure as the injured guy would be a burden. The dead guy will just lie there.

Then when the americans chase them into the tunnel, got some parts which are small, but the vietnamese move through easily. The slightly wider americans get stuck and killed. =.=

Also went to a very lame war museum. ITS SUPER BIASED! Everything it shows is about how good vietnam is, and how bad the americans were. One exhibit even had the F word to describe the americans. SEERIOUSLY EVERYTHING!!!!

The ang mors there didnt look too happy :P

i cant remember what else i did.

Day 3
Took a boat to an island, tried some cookies and stuff. Honey, tea,coconut biscuits etcetc. Sampled fruits, shopped at a pasar malam sort of thing.
Then, took a smaller boat (sampan) down the river back to the big boat to bring us to the mainland. I kept thinking about that Visa card ad, where this guy is dancing at different countries. He was dancing on a sampan in vietnam, and in front of a taxi in singapore.xP
Went to some temples. 1 cathedral too.
oh and watched a puppet show. quite cool, except that its in vietnamese. wth!

oh ya ytd ate tuan yuan fan at Dragon Gate restaurant, Harbourfront.
it was kinda boring. Much rather be eating with fwens. :D

so 10am the plane left. 12pm touchdown liao. WTH!!!
My first impression of vietnam was that it sucked. and im gonna be stuck there for a LONG time. The airport was smelly and the lighting was bad. The guy checking our passports was rude and idiotic. The weather was super hot and humid. The bus driver chucked our luggage bags. seriously chucked into the compartment by the side of the bus. The hotel was 3 star. It was kinda small.
But then, discovered the TV had cartoon network at least. There was internet access (obviously). The bathroom was half the size of the room. BIG!!! wth?
now i dont mind it THAT bad.

Music was total epicness. We should have more music lessons lor;whole class like eat ecstasy liddat.
And the coach/instructor/someguy kept talking about circumsicion ==

kept going on about $52 Double Boiled Superior Sharks Fin Broth with etcetc from Tung Lok.

WHATS SO GREAT ABOUT SHARKS FIN? Its rubbery. Tasteless. And it kills a shark. For 4 fking bowls of shark fin soup. The taste of the soup comes from chicken stock. And the texture from cornflour. Sharks Fin is totally redundant lor. Mrs Koh agreed also.

Well ltr got CNY deco we did quite a lot today! due to MY awesomeness. and u all too wtv. lol.
Ming Yu was totally useless. BUT!!!! he contributed our entertainment; taptap.

ACC was crap. During recess we went up to class, then go down wif bo ning (jin heok and me) to take his bag. left it outside Sci Lab. Go up again, meet ACC tchr. He say lesson in BSP room. We go down slack around. He tell us upstairs. Then we go back class. Go toilet le, found out he made a final decision:go down BSP room. WTF. So we go down again. Then find out need worksheets.
